CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

You mean the new one I take it? I have not seen it yet, but it is supposed to be a visually extrordinary movie. Don't know much about what they are planning to do with the story though. I'm definately going to watch it as soon as I can get my hands on it.

I wanted to see it, but they didn't show it in theaters in Oklahoma.
Oh well, I guess I'll just have to see it when it comes out on DVD. But I really wanted to see it on the big screen.

I have seen it and i thought it was absolutly awesome, best looking anime this year next to Ghost in the Shell 2

The original one came out in 1988. It certainly wasn't a bad movie for its time, but I always thought it could have told it's story better.
Anyway, it's old and I had pretty much forgotton about it myself until the new Appleseed movie was made.
