Has anyone got the super mario bros game on the DS?

That's the pic of the game taken from www.amazon.co.uk in case anyone wasn't sure what I meant.

If anyone has it, and has played it much, I was just wondering if anyone knew how to get past that big baddie or whatever you call them, at that second castle level in world 6? It's driving me crazy, I've been playing for ages, and just can't get past it. Everytime I go to jump on him to kill him, the spikes appear on his back, killing me instead.

But yeah, hopefully someone around here might know what I'm talking about? Please could you help me out, or give me some clue. Thank you!

I'm Judy. Recently graduated from uni, and started full time work. And not long bought a DS Lite, the white one, and this is my first game for it. So far, I'm loving it

Hello there There's a walkthrough here that should help.

I think (if I've found the right section on that website), you've got to jump over him, he'll chuck a shell at you, you stomp the shell and chuck it back at him. Once it hits him you'll be able to jump on his un-spiky tummy.

I'd actually only been on that bit 4 or 5 times, I was just getting impatient. Hehe, I was probably making out like I'd spent days and days on there.

Looks like a really good website, if I'm ever stuck on anything in the future. Although I think I'll avoid looking at it much, and 'cheating' unless I'm really confused.

Yeah my husband got the game and I played it too...I thought it was great. We sold our DS earlier in the year though so we don't have it anymore.

Yeah, I got it when it came out. Like someone already said, just go to www.gamefaqs.com and search for your game if you're stuck. I also just bought a Wii. It's actually a lot of fun! I recommend it if you like playing casual, fun games.

BTW: Your box looks too white... Mine is like this:

That's what the boxes for it look like over here. They probably have slightly different looks in different countries.


I much prefer the DS over the wii but that's just my personal preferance

I can't say that I prefer one over the other. They're completely different!
