OH yeah, I've got the march madness. I have a lot of favorites, but since I am an alum of Okla. State I like them but I'm not sure they will make the NCAA tournament. OU will not make it but they will play in the NIT. In mens I like (as a favorite ) Gonzaga, Duke and LSU. In Womens, I like Duke a lot , they are a complete team but they got defeated this weekend by North Carolina State , they were undeafed until this game this year and were #1 in the nation. Maybe that was good as they head into the NCAA tournament. North Carolina with Ivory Latta is fun to watch and so is Tennesee with Candice Parker. OU's women with Cortney Paris is going to be a contender for sure. It will be interesting to see how the big 12 plays out between Texas A&M and OU.

Yon can't make any predictions that are meaningful at this point. From what I have seen it's the team that wants it the most that will be on top or at least in the final four. To me getting to the final four is as great an honor as winning the whole thing.

Nebraska plays okaholma state tonight, go big red. cregihton bluejays won the Missouri Valley Conference tourney last night beatin southern illinois university. It is an automatic bid to the NCAA tourney. MCV could get as many a s 4 teams in the tourney this years. the MVC is considered the BEST Non BCS conference. SIU is ranked #11 in the nation. cregiton has be to a tourney 12 stright years and the ncaa 10 of the last 12 years. it has 10 MVC titles in 12 years, only duke, NC, Kasans and Florida have as many that is some pretty elite company.

Being from Oklahoma you don't have much choice but to appreciate college sports (if one is to follow sports and have any kind of alliegance!). I used to live in Arkansas, so I understand what it's like with no professional sports. So I rooted for the Hogs, although I did grow up in cities with professional sports.

I don't usually catch March madness until it gets to the Sweet 16. I don't really have favorites since I follow pro-sports (although I don't really care for NBA basketball until playoffs!). Good luck to all (although I don't think God favors one team over another).

Jim I'm from St.Louis so naturally I like Missouri and St.Louis university. SLU will make the nit, as will Missouri. I now live in Durham North Carolina and hate Duke. But I do like North Carolina. This palce down here is college basketball crazy! We have North Carolina State, North Carolina, and Duke. I have never seen people so on fire for college baskeball like these fokes.
My favorite to win it all is Kansas. I also like Texas. My heart is still inthe Big 12!

Yeah, I understand what you are saying about college sports crazy. I like college basketball and foot ball because they hold closer to the rules of the game than what you see in NBA games. In NBA games you see guys traveling, double dribbling and palming the ball all the time but never get called on it. Also, the college games are played with a whole lot more passion than the pros show. Instead of seeing nothing but bonafide giants slam dunking the ball easily you can occasionally see an 5'8" point guard slam dunk the ball, now that is exciting!! Additionally, I follow the human interest stories of college sports more. Kids from no where America giving their all to realize a dream come true. All the heart ache and ecstacy, loss and triumph are there to watch and experience. A game is a lot like life to me, it always has it's ups and downs with success and failures. The ones who come out on top never quit even though they may loose the game.

The big 12 mens basket ball tournement begins tommrow. and so do the rest of the major conference tournements. it should be exciting. already a major upset has occured in the mid majors. 2 unranked teams have knocked of raked mid-majors Cregiton defeating #11 southern illinois and #19 butler being upset by an unranked team That is going to leave some really good teams out side the dance this year.

I'm still looking at that right now, In the womens I look for Duke and Maryland to be in the final four. I am hoping OU will be there as well. In men's I think Gonzaga will be there as well as Kansas. Not sure from there, Texas A&M is looking good but it's any bodie's guess right now. I've seen some teams that were rated way back make it to the final four and no one ever gave them a chance. Last year was a prime example of that.
