I find they are joyful. Every candidate has a personality. I find Harris and Walz to be joyful, exuberant, optimistic.
While they believe that a Trump presidency would be disastrous for our democracy, our individual freedoms, and the 99%, they are not dwelling on that.
They have their own plans and are working on their platform to be introduced at the convention next week.
Obama won on hope and change. (Of course, he was running against John McCain, a heroic, compassionate, and ethical individual who it would be hard to criticize. I voted for Obama but I thought McCain was an American hero.)
I am glad that Harris and Walz are running on optimism and plans for the future, and not just "against" Trump, although there are a substantial number of never Trumpers out there, including the Republican mayor of Mesa, Arizona, who will vote for Harris/Walz for that very reason.

And as much as I oppose Trump, I want to vote "for" Harris/Walz, not just against Trump. The more I see Walz the more I like him.
