I was largely dismissive the moment it was revealed that the Clinto Campaign paid $12,000,000 for a dossier that they conveniently leaked to the press and FBI.

IMHO it is DNC disinformation.

Conservative podcaster Tim Pool is suing Kamala Harris' presidential campaign for allegedly claiming that he was advocating a Donald Trump dictatorship.​

In a lawsuit filed in a West Virginia federal court on Tuesday, Pool claims that the Harris campaign falsely said that he backed the Project 2025 plan to put Donald Trump in the White House. It also states that the Harris campaign claimed Pool was advocating the execution of political enemies.​

The legal action followed a post by the Harris campaign on X, formerly Twitter, over the Labor Day weekend.​

Pool is seeking millions of dollars in compensation and claims that he has had to increase security as a result of the Harris campaign's online comments.​

Its not even controversial that Russia has been engaged in extensive opinion molding in the USA.

They definitely did bots and a few other goofy low profile projects in 2016. The biggest thing to come from them was a set of facts leaked about Clinton and the DNC.

In 2020, I'm not sure what they did. They were behind the accusations towards Tulsi Gabbard....and then there's the Ex-CIA contractors writing that bogus letter about the laptop. I don't recall anything else.

I personally find it refreshing they're just going to finance a media company and pay a fine for not filling out the foreign influence form that would make this legal.

You should not be dismissive of this.

Trump supporters don't need connections that strong to become believers. They'll believe anything the man says simply because he said it. Pfft. Incredulity is rich in this political environment.

It's fascinating how Trump supporters have no problem whatsoever believing immigrants in Ohio are eating pets, when there's zero evidence of it and JD Vance readily admits he 'created the story'. Then on the other hand, they won't believe the Heritage /Trump connection when there's video of Trump standing in front of the Heritage Foundation, one week after Project 2025 was establsihed, endorsing their plan.
