We might consider the primary reasons for large price increases after Biden and Harris took office.
1) Large, increased, demand for products after the pandemic,
2) large amounts of savings (money was spent at a much lower level during the pandemic)
3) supply chain issue with many, many products after the pandemic, for example with chips needed for computers, and supplies needed for construction.
4) food supply disruption due the Russian invasion of Ukraine
5) energy supply disruption due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine
6) more money available to folks as a result of Biden bipartisan legislation, especially including the increase in the child tax credit

Also, Harris needs to accept the fact that the administration misled folks many times with their predictions that inflation would soon slow down.

Great! What are you waiting for? You are in office with the president's ear. Bring this up now in the daily meetings. Get a consensus in Congress and the Senate. I am sure many would back your idea, or at least threaten the food industry to regulate themselves - or else!
