Are there any good Christian or secular hardcore bands out there that aren't negative to Christ and Christians? I miss the heck out of listening to it!!!!! I need to spin kick and windmill, and jump off of stuff, and SOON!

I also like Mortal Treason, and Nile. Also, Showbread is pretty cool. Not so much hardcore, but spazzy, so youll have no problem jumping off stuff to this. Get "No Sir, Nihilism Is Not Practical. Also Nile is death-metal.

i think it's supposed to be an offshoot of hardcore punk, but it sure doesn't sound like it

I'm not quite sure what you mean by hardcore, because what I might think of as hardcore, probably isn't very hardcore to anyone else, but my dad likes Stavesacre, but I don't think they are actually that hardcore. Search for stuff on pure volume, or other music sites.

Actual hardcore is an offshoot of punk and also is punk. Nowadays hardcore is to me, metalcore. They take melodic death metal elements like At The Gates and mix it with a tiny bit of punk.

The big old school punk bands are Minor Threat, Bad Brains, Misfits, Ramones, Sex Pistols, Black Flag and Dead Kennedys. I'm not really a fan of those because I like heavier punk.

most these bands are poo....they are hXc....and its ruining real HARDCORE...try NO INNOCENT VICTIM, STRETCH ARMSTRONG and COMEBACK KID......some secular bands are(even though they might be kinda bad) Agnostic front, madball, H20, Cro-Mags, and Molotov

no, i posted it before i read yours, your list is pretty good...but TSOL isnt that close to hardcore...they are more of a pure-ramones inspired punk band......but they are still good

I don't know much about the genre, so take it easy on me )), but Porcupine Tree has been around for quite a while. I thought that hardcore was a more recent phenomenon. Wouldn't they have been around too long to be post-hardcore?
