Lord, help us through these stressful times in our lives. Father, we know that its only going to get worse, but you promised us that you will be right by our sides as we walk through these difficult times. Help, us to keep our focus on you and not the problems that arise in our lives. Help, us to press towards the goal that we have in sight. Help, us to see things through your eyes and not our own Lord. Father God give us the hunger and desire to be more like Christ your Holy Son. Father, Satan tempted your son for forty days and nights in the desert, Lord. Help us to be like him your son and to resist the Devil. There are times it seems like we are all alone and that we cant go on that you will never leave us nor for sake us. Father, God your Bible is filled with a lot of promises for us God help us to claim everyone of them and make them personal in our lives. Guide and direct our paths in your ways Father not ours. We need to die to self daily and submit only to you on a daily bases. Your son walked in our shoes Father God help us to remember this. That you actually know what we are going through down here on Earth, thats why you sent youre a perfect sacrifice for our sins. Father, we dont need to forget this, because if it wasnt for your son we would be a lost people. Thank you for sending your son to die for us even though it must have been really hard for you to see your son on that cross bleeding and in pain for us, now we can spend eternality with you.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
