  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Has anyone else had a REALLY hard time sleeping at night? It is not so much discomfort as it is just restlesness....IDK what to do! I am staying up til three or four in the morning (my hubby goes to sleep @ 10 pm) and hen I am sleeping til noon or so. I don't like this cause I feel like I am wasting my day away! Do y'all know of anything that might help me get to sleep naturally (LOL or drug induced that is safe for pregnancy!)? Any suggestions would help greatly! Thanks everyone!!!

My doctor recommended taking Benadryl, one Tylenol PM, or a small glass of wine to help relax in the evening before bedtime. To be honest.. I hated the fact of taking any type of medication or especially alcohol.. but I had VERY bad insomnia during my 4th and 5th months. I tried all of those and none of them helped me. The best thing I found was just accepting it, and trying to relax in the evening by drinking some milk.. taking a warm bath.. and reading a book. Usually in a few hours I'd get sleepy and fall asleep.

You are definitely not alone though!! Just keep saying to yourself "this to shall pass" ;)
