Happy New Year! So, 2023. Which 2022 predictions failed?

Hi all,
it's that time when we turn our gaze back and ask what interpretations of Revelation predicted something big in 2022 and failed to pass?

How strident or 'enthusiastic' were the promoters of that view?

Could we all learn a little humility about our predictions given every year various end-times-tables fail spectacularly?

Failed? "Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before." Its what He did do and is doing. Forgive me "if" we were watching we would know millions month by month in China were getting saved going right in to home Churches. Yeah our Father is doing great things even in the lives of those that do not believe. His grace His mercy. Come lord Jesus

I'm not saying God's word has failed - but that all these eschatology games of drawing up "End-Times-Tables" are based on a wrong reading of Scripture. That Jesus clearly says we cannot know about That Day. That any attempt at trying to predict when the Lord will return is bound to fail, because Jesus tells us we cannot know. The gospel does not fail - if it is preached correctly - in that it will bring salvation or judgement. God achieves his purposes through his Word. But playing guessing games about when the Lord might return with the New Testament like this is just wrong-headed. There are some here that have made big predictions before - failed - and are now on their second attempt! Some who were caught up in the 2012 silliness. And they want us to take them seriously - even when a bunch of their bible readings are so ripped out of context as to be absurd! I decided years ago that all I can do is hopefully chat with them AFTER their timetables fail, and see what they're doing about all that then?

Oh man - I remember it well! I would physically wince and pull back from my monitor - then grab the mouse, shut down my computer and go for a walk. He broke the internet for me that day.
