CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I'll be doing the same thing I do everyday! Except Saturday is confession day!!and Sunday I teach Religious Ed. My husband works most weekends, so there's no real difference between the weekend and every other day!

Let's see here, I'll be working and studying while the rest of the world is sleeping. On Friday night, my girlfriend and I will go to Mass, she will sing in the Latin Choir while I sit with the assembly. Then we'll probably go to Applebees for happy hour with a few friends from Church until I have to go to work.
On Saturday, I'll go to Confession in the afternoon, because it's been a couple of weeks. Then my girlfriend and I will either go and play some tennis or we might do something with another couple, we are not sure yet, then I'll go to work.
On Sunday, I'll be sleeping during most of the day, and then go to Mass and then stay after for a talk that is being given by Matthew Kelly, then go to work.

This weekend my church is having our Greek Festival...so I'll most likely be helping out there for a while. (I learned how to make baklava a couple of weekends ago! Yummie!)

Well lets see for my weekend.. I will be trying to catch up on my school work.. if I could just get away from this computer hehe!.. I have been so into learning more about Jesus.. Thank you all for being so great!!!

I will be resting as much as possible this weekend. I will go to Mass tomorrow and Sunday or one or the other I haven't decided yet but I have to go to confession tomorrow so I might just go after that. Nothing spectacular though.

I am on Day 8 of this darn cold...it's getting quite annoying. I am resting all weekend -- hope to finish one of my books -- No Wonder They Call It The Real Presence.
