I want to take this time to say and wish a very Happy Father's Day to all my Baptist, and indeed, all my brethren.
There is an old saying that anybody can be a father, it takes somebody special to be a Dad.
That is so true.
I want to wish a Happy Father's Day to you all. To those of you who have stuck by your family. To the Fathers who have worked a full time job, and have come home and in spite of everything, played "dress up" with your daughters. To take the time out of your day to have a "tea party" with her. To be her knight, and she, your princess.
To the Dad who has worked especially hard that day, come home, and had the time to take your son to baseball practice, hold his hand as you taught him to ride his first bicycle.
And in spite of all you have done, you still find the time to wake up every Sunday, get dressed and take your wife, your daughter, you son, your family to church.
I want you to know that not only do I appreciate it, your family does, and most importantly, God sees it.
