Twas 25 years ago today that Ferris Bueller's Day Off opened at the box office.
I just saw an article this morning laden with videos that might be of interest...
technically it's a blog post, I suppose, but kinda interesting nonetheless...
‘Ferris Bueller’s Day Off’ and its 25 contributions to pop culture lore - Celebritology 2.0 - The Washington Post
Does anybody actually not like this movie? Anyone actually not seen it? Anyone think this is one of their all-time favorite movies? I do!
That fact the movie is having its bday today is interesting and coincidental (or is it fate?) since a couple days ago I started a John Hughes marathon. I've watched a couple Hughes flicks and a documentary but I'm saving Ferris for last in 2 or 3 days or so. I love it, seen it easily like 25 times but it's been a few years since the last viewing and I can't wait to see it again!
Save Ferris! He'll always be Abe Froman to me....
