Happy fourth. We have camp and then the kids are spending a couple weeks in Florida with the grandparents. So from now until Tuesday is a bit of a whirlwind.

We are delivering meds and doing bills. After that, back home for a relaxing day.

I had a fairly good 4th; didn't go anywhere and didn't do anything, which was just how I wanted it. I was invited to attend two different firework-watching parties, to which I politely declined; with my PTSD that would have been a serious mistake.

I did hear some fireworks way off to my west last night, but they were far enough away that they didn't bother me. (See why I live in the woods? ) Somebody to my southwest yesterday afternoon was firing some kind of a weapon---that had me jumpy, but not as bad as it could have been.

All in all, not a bad day. I watched a couple of old movies, went to bed, and slept like a baby.
