Trump's demands said Hamas must release all hostages and have no role in governing Gaza. The plan didn't address the idea of a Palestinian state.

"The Palestinian militant group Hamas said on Oct. 3 it had agreed to release all Israeli hostages, alive or dead, under the terms of President Donald Trump's 20-point plan aimed at ending the war in Gaza and signaled readiness to immediately enter mediated negotiations to discuss the details.

In a statement shared with Reuters, the group also agreed to hand over administration of the Gaza Strip to an independent Palestinian body with Arab and Muslim backing and said it would be willing to discuss other aspects of Trump's proposal as part of the talks."

One wonders how many of the released hostages will be freshly dead.

I don't think Hamas wants peace. Maybe a cessation of losses so they can regroup and annihilate Israel. Call me cynical. I do pray for peace.

All I know is I don't trust Hamas or any of the Palestinian organisations or representative swith connections to radical Islam. No matter what they say it is not because they have suddenly come to their senses and have found some humanity and support for democratic government.

In this political climate and culture wars I don't trust anyone. Any peace deal being promoted is one of this world and the principalies and dark forces pulling the strings. Its a peace agreement that is held together with threats of war and hidden agendas.

At the end of the day Hamas and other radicals only understand one thing hate and terror and the power of war. They are capitulating because they know the end is near for them in Gaza. If they don't surrender they will be eradicated from Gaza.

Any deal must have the return of hostages but also a complete surrender and the installation this time of a democratic government under the guide of a international body.

THis will be hard as we have seen that even in western domestic politics homegrown radicals including politicians are trying to undermine democracy and freedoms with ideology.

So not only does a democratic government need to be installed. But a model one needs to be upheld and nt bring the same culture wars that are happening in western nations that will undermine this transition.

Perhaps this can be a time when the world comes together to re-establish the truth principles we built our nations on in helping the Gazans establish themselves.
