I honestly, didn't really care for Halo on the XBox or pc. UT I have enjoyed for a long while. Half-Life 2 is what I'm looking forward to though. But overall, I don't spend hardly any time playing games anymore but when I do, I actually feel myself gravitating to my GameCube more often than not.

The origional UT is probably the finnest 1st person shooter in existance, i still play it even now, 2003 was not quite in the same league, but still miles ahead of Halo, I predict the same for the new releases.
Im with you there. The original UT was the best. Then UT2003 kind of tried to be Q3A IMHO. I think what Epic games failed to realise was that it's fan based loved UT because it WASNT Q3A.

Still, UT2003 will all the graphic effects turned on including Bumb Mapping.... nothing beats it ....yet.

LOL and Bump mapping is one of the big sells for Halo 2 as if they invented it.... still... it is a consol game.

Personally, as said before, I think I'll just buy both.
