Halo2 or UT2004? hhmmmm

I've been looking on Unreal Tournament com and looking at the screen shots and videos of Unreal Tournament 2004, it's going to be very much like Halo2 in Multiplayer with weapons and vehicles, in fact some aspects look like direct halo copies (come on guys.. that Scorpion Jeep IS the Warthog).

I've always been a huge fan of the Unreal Tournament series but I fear I am part of a dying breed.

Anyway, given the choice, if it had to be one of the other, would you opt for Halo2 or UT2004.

This is a purley hyperthetical question so no posts saying (but I dont have a Xbox) blah blah.

Halo 2 hands down. I have always hated UT and Halo is the main reason why I still game today. But to each his own.

I think I am with you, but I don't think I'll be able to stop myself buying UT2004 (lol).

Halo does rock though! Its the reason I got an Xbox.

Yes, don't forget Halflife 2 either ! I choose Halo 2. Im very one sided in this decision.

I loved UT but hated UT '03 for PC and UC for Xbox, so UT'04 isn't really blowing my skirt up. H2 on the other hand.....::drool::

I've found UT to be the most satisfying multiplayer shooter in both it's incarnations, so 2004 should be good. Certainly better than Halo 2, which was only good because there's no real competition on Xbox (played Halo on computer recently... hated it).

Guess it's diferent depending on what counrty you are from. My appologies for being British (um no, I will never appologise for that )

Yet to Vote in Oz. I'll vote for the guy that promises to get rid of all the flies though

My point was, what is the point of choosing an option that doesnt apear on the poll lol.

There have already been threads for "What game do you most anticipate?" where as this poll was clearly stating the simularities between Halo2 and UT2004 and asking which of the 2 would people buy.

for shooters, yes it is, and i hate ut so i will have to go with halo, you need absolutly no skill to be awsome at UT, all you do is point and click, its like mech assault.

Mods are where it's at for UT games. But for SP, I'll probably do Halo. But considering my system can't handle UT2k3, I don't think I'll be getting UT2k4. I've got an XBox for Halo2.

Well they are making UT2 for xbox, is this UT 2004, or a compleatly different game?

and yes, UT has awsome mods, I havent had much of a chance to play on them though.
