Halo Tournament news. St. Louis, MO

Any awesome Halo Players in the Midwest.. Well around St. Louis, MO area? There is a big 4v4 tournament with cash prizes of $150+ for first place.

ah, they have done these for quite a while.

on the xbox website, they have the 2002 halo tourneys, the winner went home with a big screen tv, an xbox, and a years worth of games.

4v4 seems limited Give me 8v8 blood gulch any day.

but in 4x4, its just a little more civilized. you have more time for stratigie, its not just a kill fest.

Yeah the tournaments are awesome. Like Aburame said, 4 v 4 leaves time for strategy. 8 v 8 would be overkill. I even like a good 2 v 2 games.

My friend is thinking about doing a traveling tournament. He would load all his equipment in a uhaul type thing with tv's, xbox systems, and lan equipment and travel all over the U.S. to designated locations and hold tournaments. Is this a good idea? Would anyone of you guys play in it if it came to your backyard?
