The game is a tremendous resource hog, have you tried mixing around your video options?

I've got the trial version (If the game was ported to PC better, I'd have bought it too, but I'm not buying a worse rendition of a game I already own) and yeah, you can play Blood Gulch all you want, it's not bad.

A christian person can play halo. I bought Halo 2 days ago and I love it, my favorite Xbox game. Sure it is mature, but it is just a FPS like Goldeneye was. In goldeneye you can kill people, and stuff like that. Halo is the same thing ,except with a little more intense violence. Anyone can play that, a lot of christians play halo. Oh, and, can someone tell me how long will it take me to beat the game in all difficulty levels?

Not Halo 2 the game, I meant I bought Halo two days ago. My bad, I should have put two instead of 2. If I had Halo 2, I would be all happy, and I would tell everyone where to get it. But I have to wait until the day it comes out, which is, April 4, 2004. I think, unless it is delayed. I can't wait.

We have Halo LAN parties at my church every other month where I am the asst. Pastor. Our head pastor has beaten the game on the highest level. One of the guys who goes to our church and plays halo w/ us works at Microsoft and develops xbox games, he usually smokes us all the time, so does the pastor. Those two usually dominate the game.

I can't wait to play Halo 2. BTW, any one in the Seattle area and is a beleiver and wants to join us in February let me know, we might be able to fit you into our little party.

God Bless

LOL I was ready to run down the shops when I saw someone type "I got Halo 2 days ago." LOL dont do that again. My heart wont take it.

As for Halo... ROCKS!!!

As for the person that said they beat it in 1 day and it was too short....

"Were you playing on the easiest level..... or perhaps it was a demo version?"

lol.

Then again I have a mate who swears BLIND he beat Time Splitters 2 on the PS2 in 10 minutes. Every time he swears that amount "10 minutes".

I want to pop round there sometime and see why he couldnt access "level2" lol.

Hey guys, I noticed that you were talking about Halo. I've asked my father if I could buy the game. I have never owned a first person shooter. But I have rented and played them. My parents are comfortable with real time strategy games, also the games Two Towers, Return of the King, etc. But not much with gun games for some reason. Got some ideas that would help me plead my case to my dad.

Well first of all can I ask your age? Im not sure about the states but In Oz and the UK, the game carries a 15 rating.

Whether law or not, I am a firm believer in using these ratings as a good guide to what sort of kids should play them.

It's a pain I know as everyone is affected in diferent ways, and people progress at different paces than others, but they ARE a good sencible way of choosing whether or not the game is suitable for the intended recipent.

Technically it is a guide. However, many companies have started not selling M rated games to people under 17 unless someone 17 is there with them. It might be law, but I'm not too sure. The rating system, like all systems, is a bit flawed of course. Nothing can be perfect in this world.
