I'm Maggi and I'm a 29 year old from PA. I took four semesters of German in college but I have forgotten a lot of it except for simple things like, "Wie gehts?" and, "Es geht mir gut?" lol But I really do want to learn it so I am planning on teaching it to myself. Now that I am out of college, I don't have other classes getting in the way. Maybe visitng this forum often will help.
Anyway, I'm also a Christian and have been since I was 16 years old. I'm also looking for some new fellowship and email or snail mail pen friends, so if anyone is between the ages of 23 and 34 and from Germany, or studying German, or just interested in German culture like I am, email me at: ashestobeauty@hotmail.com
I have tons of other interests too: film, theater, music (Christian and secular), scrapbooking, working out, concerts, journaling, my friends, writng, reading, history, animals, spending time with God, etc. I was an English major with a concentration in film and drama studies, and I was a theater major too.
At my University, all English majors must take 4 semesters of a language (French, German, or Spanish). They actually added a Russian class and this one girl who I was in German 3 & 4 with, was taking German AND Russian at the same time! What a brave girl, lol.
I'm part German which may be why I am so inetersted in Germany. I'm also part Irish and Russian. I've never visited any of those countries, but I'd love to one day!
Hope to make lots of new friends here! God Bless!
