Now, I am almost certain it is out. I'm not quite sure because I've been wholed up on a college campus for 2 months, but I'm coming home in 5 days. I'm expecting to see it on my bro's computer cause he has steam, and it automatically downloads it. well, if you are lucky enough to play the most graphically advanced game every created, and yes, it even beats DOOM3, tell us what you think!

Oh man all I can say is... wow.
Just wow... graphically, AI, just.. everything... When I played it there was times where I had to just stop with my jaw open in amazement.. it's just, wow. simply amazing. u just gotta play it to realize just how GREAT this game actually is when it comes to the next generation of gaming. it's just.. man, can't say anything else but wow

Hl2, i've played it. It's a blast really.
Though it took me ages to install cause of the annoying anti piracy steam counter measure, once i got going, it was worth it!
Just besure that if you start feeling sick, it's motion sickness. I did a few times. Annoying.

I am dying to play it, but after reading the sheer volumes of disasters people have had with getting the game to work, I'm afraid to buy it.

I'm getting Doom 3 (a legit version) for free so that will satisfy my desire for ultra gore for a while.
Plus I need to wade through Halo 2 on legendary. I'm thinking that will keep me busy for a while.

I wasn't going to buy it at first, but a member on another forum convinced me to buy to it. I must say, it was money very well spent. The only problems I encountered, was that it took about 45-minutes for the install and activation process. Asside from the that, this game is far better than Doom3.

Yeah i hear about tons of ppl having problems registering... I flew right thru the process, didn't have any hold ups... and I have a modem! I would think I woulda had a harder time but no problems for me.. Yeah, this game is just revolutionary in the next generation of gaming. It's awesome
