When I started learning to hack I started learning how to program software and make programs. To help me hack but I don't think anyone should do what I did. I learned a lot about software and programing, and how software works. But if you learn just don't use it on any comptuers on the internet setup your own computer to hack into.

If you want to learn just about computers themself I say you should start learning more about he computer hardware. Or try to build your own computer.

Well that is something I never really got into. But if you want to learn you can do some simple learning at www.geocities.com or probably do a search on google for "how to learn html".

And Seesaw- While I did not mean to offend you, hacking of ANY kind is illegal in a lot of places.

 

And I have personal information, passwords, email accounts, credit card info, STOLEN from me, by someone who was out to maliciously harm my computer, and me as a person, because I disagreed with them on a minor thing. THAT is goonish and wrong.

Learning to hack--or crack, depends on who you talk to as to what it is called is no more wrong than learning how to kill someone or how to steal a wallet. You can learn how it is done all that you want to, as long as you violate no laws in doing so. You can never use that information for malicious purposes however, for doing that would be sin. Also obtaining the information for malicious intent would be a sin. Being curious about something and learning about it is not a sin. Just make sure that you stay away from the sites that advocate the act of sin, such as placing of porno banners and such. Just my two cents on that.

If you really want to learn about computers, learn to program. It's worth it. Being able to program is like being able to walk; you can't even *imagine* the difference it makes.

I started out as a script kiddie about 7 yrs ago. (when i was 11.. lol..) but that was like.. just post BBS age. Now I find that there really is no necessity of trying to hack, it's nice doing it to games once in a while but couldn't you use your programming skills elsewhere? Create something new and usefull... like speeding up the DB on this site lol!
