You can find all kinds of Gymboree clothes on eBay. But if you like yard sales, you can come across some really good deals that way, too.

I'm not big on Gymboree...my girls do have a few pieces, but it's just not the style I like.

My favorite brands are GAP or Limited Too.

I get a ton of Gymboree stuff for my youngest (she just turned 5). I either get things off eBay, or when they go on major sales.

I also buy Gap~ once again on eBay or when they're having major sales (plus my oldest works for Gap and they get Wonderful discounts! lol)

You have to learn how their sales cycle through. It is kind of like Kohls--never buy anything full price because it will be on sale soon! Also, they have a coupon called "gymbucks"--you earn them during vertain times of the year ($25 buck for every $50 spent)--and then you can redeem them later (again, $25 buck for every $50 spent) so it adds up to a 25% discount on top of any sale prices.

Then they have a circle of friends sale--30% off everything, and they send out "plum" coupons to their customers on occasion for 20% off. I always use coupons and gymbucks toward things that are marked down already, so I save a lot. I've found that their clothes are cheaper than other brands when I buy this way--and they last a lot longer, hold up to lots of washing and stain removal, and I can sell them later on ebay for about 60% of what I paid.

But, I also buy other brands, and I am not too picky so I don't mind waiting until sales are on. (Some gymboree folks HAVE to have all the pieces of a certain line, and the only way to do that is to buy it when it first comes out.)

We also don't buy a ton of clothes for DD, so between working the sales and limiting the volume, we spend less than my friends who will only shop at Walmart.

Normally I'm an e-bayer and have been for Gymboree stuff for the past 10 years or so (since my biggest was little). I was just wondering if I was the only one who was obsessed.

How do you end up in the "circle of friends"?

Just sign up for their emails and they'll send it to you as well as info about their other sales :)
