Yes. There is a difference in story between GS and GSD. Kira, Athrun, Cagalli, Dearka, Yzak, and some more on are GSD.

Same here, Flaye just isn't one of my favorites characters. There were times when I wanted to slap her(oh gosh, that's so mean of me, but...)
Anyways, on a lighter note, I love Gundam SEED! Although, I haven't been keeping up with the episodes lately...because I've been falling asleep before it comes on.

They "cartoon network" just aired phase50(the last one). It was last friday. Sorry if you missed it but it was awesome.

I should stop watching Duck Dodgers before GS comes on, because watching that always gets me sleepy(not that it's boring I love it!) Maybe I can find the Gundam SEED dvds on Netflix(Netflix rocks!)

I saw 1&2 of Gundam seed Destiny. Cagalli and Athrun come up and try to face a gundam in a zaku! Who would face a Gundam in a Zaku?! The new people are Shin, Rey, Lunamaria, Stellar, Neo, Auel, and Sting. I heard freedom comes back in Destiny.

Char did. On several occasions, and he lived to tell about it even though he was never actually destroyed the gundam in a Zaku. Bernard Wiseman also did in Gundam 0080, and though he died he made a pretty good showing of himself.
Oh wait, I forgot that we were talking about the new show that reuses mechanical designs and plot elements from the original universe, and is apparantly not even bothering to rename the things it steals now.

Let's get back to Gundam Seed shall we?
I too hated Flay and could'nt wait until she got killed. But at the end where Flay was all like glowing and stuff, that was a just a little over the top.
Though it may steal some stuff from the previous, the show was still good. I couldn't believe the number of gundams they had in that show. Like twelve I think. Providence and the Aegis were my favorite.
Lacus was a little bit annoying to me as well. Her voice was really... just annoying. Plus, her singing voice didn't seem to match her normal voice.
Are they gonna show Gundam Seed Destiny on Toonami? Oh and it comes on at 12:30 at night.
The last fight between La Cruse and Kira was awesome! Like you could feel the rush... well, I could.
And I also wanted to see La Cruse's face soooooo bad when his mask got shot off. Why don't they ever who the masked guys faces in Gundam?!?!?

I almost threw up.
For me, the dub for this ranks right up there with Love Hina on the worst dub chart.
And while I'm complaining(
), why did they think it was needed to change Lacus' songs to an english version? Didn't they stop doing that kind of thing in dubs years and years ago?
