This was one of my faveroit shows growing up at a kid. ANd looking back now a have a great deal of respect for it. It had a very developed history and world. So i thought id see if any one would be interested in doing a RPG based on it.
Centuries ago there lived a race known as the Gummi Bears. For hundreds of years they developed one of the most civilized cultures the world had known. Humans began to interact with the Gummi Bears and the two for hundreds of years created a peace and friendship that would go on. The Gummi's created beautiful citys, became highly advanced in there technologys, and powerful in the use of magic. Despite the friendship, the Gummi Bears refused to share there greatest secrets such as there technology, magic, and there recipe for the coveted Gummiberry Juice. The two races grew, the Gummis a culture on knighthood, chivilry and domocracy. However the humans became greedy and wanted the Gummi Secrets fo themselves. This started a war betwen Human and Gummi that would go on for many years. In the end the Gummi abandoned for citys takeing refuge on boats that would tkae them to new colonys beyond the sea called New Gumbrea away from the humans. They left a small colony behind with promises they would return for them. Gummi Bears in time over hundreds of years would become legends, and fairy tales. There once dominate culture forgotten. Something happened and the ships never returned for the small group that had stayed behind.
If any one recalls the show took place hunddred or so years after this in whitch Gummi Bears are but myth and the colony that was left behind has dwindled to only 7.
Im not sure how the plot would go yet. Either take place dureing a similar time as the show. Or take place dureing the war between Humans and Gummi Bears. I wanted first to see who all would be interested in a RPG based off this great show. And from there decide how to do it.
