Guitar paint help!

I was playing my beloved strat and coughed so darn hard, it fell outta my hands and scraped against the handle of a drawer. Now, I have this scratch on the front of the body above the pickguard. So, I called my local 'authorized' Fender dealer (this place is a pain to deal with) and they told me that Fender doesn't sell touch up paint. So this guy tells me to go to an autobody shop and see if they can match the paint. Now, don't anybody tell me "It adds character, man." 'Cuz it shore don't look like character to me

Anyone out there got any suggestions?

DUDE!! thats like tragic!! i always get bummed out when i find a scratch on my guitar. Did ya try going to your local music store? they might have somthing to take care of that. sorry man, toatal bummer!!
