I've been playing WoW since Nov 23 and I recently got to 60. Anyway, I'm sort of burnt out on it and I was wondering if this game is similar or not? I kind of wnat a different type of a game but I still want an RPG. Let me know if any of you have played both and if this game is different enough so that I won't feel like I'm playing the same thing over and over again.

Never played WoW so I dunno, I played SWG though, this game IMO is better. It's all instanced and your group gets it's own private instance of the areas outside of the cities and main locations. So because of that you don't have to wait for something to respawn b/c a group already cleared it out, because its a personally reserved area 
Also if you play, make sure and stay in the pre-searing Kingdom of Ascalon till you reach at least level 6. It makes things a lot easier
And when your in pre-searing, make sure to buy 3 or 4 salvaging kits, it has half the salvaging amount of those in post-searing but costs a lot less... 40 gold compared to 100-150 gold.
I restarted a new character named Zekkau the Brave and he's doing much better than Zekkau Lightwalker (Zekkau Lightwalker was my name in SWG)

Get in game! I have about 7 guys from the Tribe of Judah on my friends list but only 1 has been on in the last 2 days lol
How many members does Tribe of Judah have? Oh and alos, any tips from Rangers out there? I'm currently a Level 8 Ranger/Monk with a ton of skills from quests already (so many I only had to buy 2 or 3 from the skill npc)
I use this combo in fighting:
Read the Wind+Ignite Arrows+Dual Shot along with Bane Signet and the area smite spell/prayer thing... When I have my pet out I use pet lunge or something like that... Any suggestions?
My bow is 9-13, +20% damage plus 15% damage against charr...

I just made a new guy named Boris Badenoff wa/rn and will probably be on some, but I'll likely never catch you on lvls since I just can't stay interested in a game anymore but we can chat anyway while I stand in a presearing field and watch stuff walk by.

Has any seen X Lamb Of God X or Pope Benedict X V I ?
LoG in game was dancing almost nude and yelling out things like orgy, paying ppl for almost nude dances, etc... And PBXVI was talking about sex as if it were nothing (I won't talk about it)...
And there were multiple ppl saying things about Christianity, like "i'd take a *blank* on Jesus' chest"...
I'm sick of ppl acting this way and insulting Christianity, is there any way to report them? And if you get the time, add them to your ignore lists...

Trash talking is a big part of a pvp focused game like GW so they probably figure if you have a problem, you can solve it in pvp. It's just something you'll have to get used to as a Christian.

I'll be on the lookout for you 88Devin07 to send you an invite to our guild. I've been on vacation for the last week so that's why you haven't been invited yet because I'M the responsible one. =P
Anyway I've still got my lvl 20 N/E and my lvl 20 Mo/W for guild battle purposes, or if anybody needs a good monk to go along for missions/quests.
My vacation was awesome, it was my first cruise ever and I had uber fine high class dining for every meal of the week. I can't wait to go on my next cruise hee hee. I know my fiancee and I are gonna cruise for our honeymoon, that's for sure.

They don't have anything above dial-up at my new home. I asked the realitor about that 3 times . So I don't think I will get much of a chance to play any more. I don't have so much time to do things with traveling 30-40 mins to work each day now....I have to be bed by 10:30...also working 50/week. not much time....

that makes me sooooooooo mad...
I just got to the Flame Temple in the Ruins of Surmia quest... None of my henchmen had even gotten close to death yet. We got there, and the henchmen decide to attack the guards w/o me attacking them. I follow the ember bearers into the temple, and USUALLY the henchmen follow you even under attack. But this time they didn't. So I'm stuck in the temple w/ the healer fighting Charr Shaman which kept healing each other. I turn around, and about 2 mins after the two other henchmen died, the Last Ember Bearer decides to come in. Me and the healer get him down to probably only 50 health, and guess what? Though the shaman were well far from him, they walk up and heal him. They kill the healer and then kill me. The AI in this game are so stupid.
When I first got the bonus mission, the ember bearers were far from us, yet all the sudden, two turned around and attacked us, they weren't even 10ft from the edge of my LOS.

The AI can be upsetting at times, but I find the lvl 20 henchies are not too bad, especially Lina the prot monk.

Just time for an odd note. If you find an item for monks that decreases their health, hang on to it! They can easily go for 100k, or more. Smiting/protection monks want them because a lower health makes skills that reduce damage by percentages easier to use. I don't claim to understand every detail, but I know a monk who solos in the underworld this way. He has five superior runes on to decrease his health and would probably pay 100k himself for an item that would further decrease it. These items that decrease health seem stupid on first glance, but to the right monk they're extremely valuable. I mention this because a guild mate recently sold one to a merchant for 25 bucks, then kicked himself later, hard.
