I have seen that there is two kinds of light that people get to walk by in their Christian walk, the light on the horizon and the lamp at your feet. The horizon light is mostly prophecies about where God is going to use you. Its always so beautiful as a sunrise or sunset. There is lots of benefits in this kind of prophesies but what I have founded is the way this prophesies that light up your horizon is very good to motivate you to keep on walking.
1 Timothy 1:18 This charge I commit unto thee, son Timothy, according to the prophecies which went before on thee, that thou by them mightest war a good warfare;
However, the lamp at our feet is daily guidance through the Holy Spirit. The bible is full of scriptures and we need a specific scripture for a specific circumstance.
Psalms 119:105 Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.
