Guidance for Medication Change

I am in a situation where I have lost my health insurance and will be getting a new insurance policy stating April 1st.

I cannot afford to refill a mental health medication without insurance because it costs hundreds of dollars without insurance. My doctor offered to switch me to a different medication that is much less expensive. I have had bad experience before while switching medications. I have a lot of anxiety over taking something different.

I need to make a decision about switching medications or doing without medication for about a week or so before I can have insurance again and can afford the one I am currently taking.

Please pray that I can make the right choice and not be in fear about it.

Perhaps there is something natural you can take to help you? I fear for those who are dependent on medications in the coming days when things get harder and harder to get. The less you have to depend on meds, the better.

Mental Health meds are not easy to discontinue. I've heard of people getting a lot of help from GoodRx.com. Very expensive pills can often be had at reasonable prices. Sometimes there are prescription discount cards available at the pharmacy. I believe Walgreens has a formulary containing some genius discounts.
I will pray for you. This is an issue you will need Jesus intervention every step of the way.

This decision must be dealt with prayerfully. I've seen people save hundreds by visiting GoodRx.com. Sometimes pharmacies offer discount cards if requested.
I will be praying for you. Keep in mind just how big God is. He didn't carry you this far just to dump you out.

I have heard about low cost medicines being offered by Mark Cuban and I personally use GoodRx.com at CVS. Prayers for you and for those prayers to be answered as you need.
