Hello, NoPlaceTooFar,

I'm glad to see you felt the workings of the lord in the lives of the cat and the old woman. I too am looking at more of LeastOne's old postings. And I do have a simple prayer request, which is that the Lord, help me to overcome my addiction to caffeine, primarily from black tea, although I've just started trying Green Tea lately. I have such a fear of starting my day without a caffeine boost, but since I've been here at Christian Forums, I've been feeling a bit more courageous, as I did not break down and imbibe today until half my day was over. Sometimes I get satisfaction by drinking a microwaved hot cup of water. I know there are things in life far worse than caffeine consumption, but that's where the deception lies--because caffeine has me by the throat, the stomach, and the heart!!!!

Please feel free to share any verses from the Bible that make a difference in your life. The following from Phillipians 4: 4-9 is something that I have been praying by everyday for the last few months, and it seems to make a difference:

"Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! 5 Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. 6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. 8 Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. 9 Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you."

i'm meditating on what it means to pray His Word...asking Him to help me with it....my heart silently prays a lot and the holy Spirit intercedes for me, but i'd like to actually verbalize praying the scriptures.....

Thank you; I heard a Pastor teaching this; it got into my spirit it was so true ; I began to pray His word; and I began to see real results;

Psalms 91: is our total protection;

Safety of Abiding in the Presence of God.

Father your Word says; anyone who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

I am writing this in first person, but also pray this for other people, using our or by their name.
I pray for myself before I pray for others; this also places you in agreement me; because we are praying the same thing.

Eph:1Redemption in Christ.

On this National Day of Prayer Day, i am thatnkful for God's peace as i lift all of our nations struggles and chaos up to Him, along with our leaders and leave it all there, as His peace sustains me.

Agreement in prayer.
We hereby agree, according to Philippians 4:19 and Matthew 18:19 as follows: Father, we
see in Your Word that You will supply all our needs according to Your riches in glory. We
are setting ourselves in agreement; that our Peace and tranqulity need is met according to Your Word. We believe we receive; We establish this agreement, in Jesus Name. Amen.

Amen means So be it. As far as we are concerned, the matter is closed. We just thank God
from that point forward. We know if we want results we must not waver. To waver is to
say to you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose
on earth will be loosed in heaven; Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth; concerning anything that they ask; it will be done for them by My Father in heaven; For where two or three are gathered together in My name; I am there in the midst of them.

The first appropriate use of the semicolon is to connect two related sentences;
A semicolon can also team up with a transition—often a conjunctive adverb—to connect two sentences close in meaning. Finally, use the semicolon to avoid confusion when you have complicated lists of items.

When we pray; satan comes to take away the Word; If he brings doubt; we simply speak to him in the authority of Jesus’ Name and say, “Don’t bring us your lies; Not only is it written in God’s Word; but we have agreed; We have written it down;” As far as we are concerned; the need is met. There is no doubt about it because; we have agreed according to the Word; of God; Consequently; our confession and actions will be in line; with what we have
established as truth;There have been times when we have wavered; so we take it to God; and receive forgiveness for unbelief; reinforce our original decree and go at it again; We all make mistakes in the walk of faith; The important thing is to keep walking; If you miss it; go at it again; The biggest mistake of all is to become discouraged; and quit; before you receive your answer; from that point forward; We know if we want results we must not waver; To waver is to doubt;It is good fo you to write down your agreements; Seeing it in black and white on paper will
make a difference; you will know what you agreed on; You will be more likely to line up your confession and your actions with your agreement.

This is such a crazy and powerful thing, I must ask a quesiton. Parsonsmon, I was wondering if it would be alright to borrow this teaching for a course I am writing on my website. It's gonna be a 14 day renewal course for people who have strayed away from God. This would fit so well. Would it be alright if I included this teaching?
