I've lost a lot of friends and people I've known or known of in wars going back to Vietnam. Both my father and my wife's father go back to WWII, one in the Pacific on a destroyer and one with Patton's Division during the entire lenth of the war and long after including the Korean war.
The men below were killed when their chopper was downed last Saturday in Afghanistan. Most of them are Navy seals. They are not the only ones I grieve for but represent every one of our service members who have died in combat or otherwise. I thought CNN did a nice job putting together the articles and videos on them. God bless them and all who have died in war or because of war. And God bless those who serve their country whether on active duty or retired in every capacity.
