Greetings, I just found this forum a few days ago, I'm not a Chrsitian but find this forum very interesting and civil, and I hope to have some fruitful conversations here as I am very interested in religion and 'beliefs' in general.

I don't have a 'belief system' per se, but I was raised a Christian, went to a private Lutheran school (lost my faith there, if Christianity is "right", I doubt that school's practice is), have been interested in / reading up on western and eastern esoterism, been exploring psychedelic drugs, but came to my senses a few years ago and have been a good boy since.

I'm 25 and a newbie father, I have a beautiful daughter of 4 months who means the world to me.

ps. why are there so few countries in the country pulldown menu? I'm from Norway but didn't find any Scandinavian countries, so for now I'm countryless.

be honest with Him , ask for help , listen ... He will direct you to where He wants you ...

and Doulos, thanks for your wishes, I know you mean well. I'm aware that Christianity can't be reduced to the behaviour of its adherents, I've thought a lot about it and I am still thinking about it.. the Agnostic faith icon might be a little off for me (thinking about changing it to 'other religion'), because I've never been able to shake off the notion that there has to be some kind of creator out there. I just can't for the life of me believe that any of the religions are 'right'..

But more on that later I guess, this is after all a good forum for discussing it..

thanks for your replies ... hope you find the article understandable. After all it will be a Norwegian reading what a Spaniard wrote in English ... oh, well ...

Also, congratulations on your 4 month all daughter. ... May the good Lord bring all joy to you in your life. The joy that abides, in knowing His love and goodness to the utmost. My daughter was four months old almost 21 years ago. They grow fast and we grow old. I also have five sons.
