I came across this site a few months back and decided to wait as I'm currently having a reborn experience. I've been raised in a christian family, but never lived it until I came at a crossroads sort of speak recently. I have had a complete 180 in who I am, my attitude, demeanor and view on people, the world, myself. I also was trapped by many fears/phobias and concerns for the future, but most are gone now and I've never had such complete trust and faith in God. It's amazing the new change in me and I'm very happy and accepting of the past as I know view them as trials to get me to where I am now rather than bad luck.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Amen to that. (Oh yeah... and welcome to the forum!) I have been through plenty of my own trials that brought me to where I am today. Even if I could go back and change them to avoid them I would not for fear that I would end up somewhere lesser than where I am now.
