Greetings y'all!
My name is Charles Flanders, altho I'm known more as Chuck or Chaz..
ZoneChaos pointed me to the ChristianForums here while he was on my IRC network (nope.. no link.. lol) And I figured, I should stop by and say Howdy.
Little bit about myself:
I'm 18 years old, and live in British Columbia, Canada. I'm locally unemployed, but online, I'm a Vice President of a company, Christians United Internet Ministries, LLC. , and Senior Network Administrator of Christian-IRC Chat Network.. I came to the Lord close to.. 6 years ago for the first time.. But my faith dwindled, and I was pulled away into various hazardous activities. Ended up I was a fairly hardcore alcoholic.. One night, while particularly drunk, I came to a friend of mine, who basically slapped some sence into me, lol. He pointed out my now favorite bible passage. 1st Corinthians 6:9 - 12.. Basically saying that God knew I was an alcoholic.. But all could be, and would be forgiven if I would fully accept him as my savior.. And I did. Over the 3 hours that my friend and I prayed, and talked.. It was like the booze was drained from my body. Before I left for bed, I bet I could have passed a breathalyzer. I was completly sober.
So there ya have it.. Glad to be here
~Chaz
