  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Hello Everyone,
I came to the Lord Jesus sometime in the mid 70's. I've struggled over these many years in my walk with the Lord. But today, after a long bout with alcohol and drugs through His mercy and grace I have been sober now for 6 yrs.

I am presently a resident employee for the Salvation Army's Adult Rehabilitation Center here in Pittsburgh, PA. I work as the dispatcher.
My other ministries are Power Point for here at the chapel and I am also a member over at the Temple Corps of The Salvation Army, where I also help with Power Point and am an usher.

I've seen God work many miracles in peoples lives here at the center. It is a true blessing for me.
I still struggle with being totally obedient.
But I advise the new men that gratitude is the first key to getting back into the stream of things.

I have recently gotten internet access, and I am eager to hear from other Christians regarding topics that affect our lives daily.

Well that's it for now.
God bless you all,
Dave
