Somehow I managed to get over here (I think via a linked post), so I figured I'd set up shop here. I'm not sure where I'll go with this, as I see a lot of features that will require accustomization.

Here's the short version of my details: Christian since June 1996, currently a catechumen in the Orthodox Church (Antiochian Archdiocese; should be joining sometime later this year), married five-plus years, proud father of two precious little girls, living in the Grand Rapids area. The details requested for my bio and "testimony" will be filled out over time (the latter's a bit complicated).

Something that helped me a LOT when I joined was to go to my Control Panel at the top of the page, and go to Edit Options. About three screens down you'll see some options to add titles and URLs for the "Custom Navbar". As you find forums on CF that you want to participate in, put their URL as one of your custom navbar URLs. That way, it will show up on the top of your screen each time you visit, and will act as a quick shortcut to the forums you visit the most.

Thanks! I had put up some external links, but I hadn't thought about links to specific forums. I suspect I'll largely just be in the Ancient Way forum, but I may end up elsewhere from time to time.
