Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

You can begin posting instantly in the open to all member forums. http://www.christianforums.com/f6
After a set number of posts--you can post anywhere. You are required to make a set number of posts before exchanging personal mail as well. The set amount is between 5-15 posts.
Blessings:
Blessings is a form of currency at CF. You can use your blessings to update your free webpage, signature, get a character and armory for your character, give to others, and/or obtain a CF pet.
You can earn blessings the following ways:
1. Becoming a site supporter. http://www.christianforums.com/support
2. For every post you gain one blessing.
3. Referring new members (10 blessings each). http://www.christianforums.com/refer
4. Signing on for a job (there is no work to be done). http://www.christianforums.com/jobs
5. You can obtain/win blessings in the blessing exchange forum. http://www.christianforums.com/f247-blessings-exchange.html
6. And people will give you blessings both randomly and personally as you post. You give blessings by clicking on the heart and cross icon under a member’s user name.
7. You can also obtain interest on your blessings weekly by placing them in the CF bank. http://www.christianforums.com/bank
Be sure to check out the auction for deals on character items if you are interested in obtaining one. http://www.christianforums.com/auction
Reps are given by the thumbs up icon under a member’s user name and are only a confirmation that one person likes what the other person has posted in forums. They are not a tool to gauge popularity (perhaps length of membership in some cases though).
