  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Hello to all:

I just wanted to introduce myself. I was searching around on the internet for somewhere to ask for prayer for my husband, and I found this site.

I have so much to read now!! I believe in the power of unity and unified prayer. "And five of you shall chase an hundred, and an hundred of you shall put ten thousand to flight: and your enemies shall fall before you by the sword." (Leviticus 26:8)

So, please pray for a job in the sciences for my husband. He has been unable to find work now for 1 year and 8 months.

And I am only to happy to stand with any of you for the needs you may have.

So, "Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need." (Hebrews 4:16)

Lord, I pray You bless this young ladies husband with a job. You know the needs that this family has and You know exactly how to fulfill them. We praise You because we believe You will answer our prayer by orienting him to finding the right job that will fulfill their needs and then some. Thank You Lord for your grace, peace, forgiveness and blessing. In Jesus name, Amen!
