Hello there!
I just joined the forums and wanted to tell you all a little about myself.
I was raised by two parents both called to missions and was saved at age five. As I continued in life, I basically sought the things the world like the rest of my peers. Eventually I turned from God my senior year of highschool and fell into a life of drugs, alcohol, and emptiness. God let me suffer in my sin for two years before I saw my need for his deleiverence. On the night of Friday, December 18, 2015, I was at a drug party on a drug I had never before been on, when God put a clear cross roads into my mind. Down the left, was the life of sin before me and the ugly consequences, and to the right was Jesus, who said I could instead stop now, choose him, and He would deliver me.
That night I chose Jesus and haven't looked back. I started attending a small baptist church plant from a large church/ministry school in my Wisconsin town 3 weeks later. Two months later, God calls me to be a pastor through 1 Timothy 4.
In September of this year I began my freshman year of ministry school before being diagnosed with Acute Lympholastic Lukeimia on November 25th. Their is no better feeling than knowing you're smack dab in the middle of God's perfect plan!
It's been an exciting year.
