I am not really a frozen hockey puck. Though, sometimes I might be a stick in the mud.

My spiritual birth took place in an Assemblies of God church. I spent some time in Methodist churches. I currently describe myself simply as Christian.

I joined Christian Forums in the hope of fellowshipping with other believers, growing in my faith, and helping others do the same.

Aside from my Christian faith, I enjoy sports like arena soccer, baseball, and motorsports. I am also something of a computer geek which a decent background in web development and an interest in cybersecurity.

I look forward to interacting with everyone.

As for your sports interests, I noticed that hockey was not listed among them so (if you don't mind me asking), what is behind your username? Is a "Frozen Hockey Puck" some kind of bizarre Canadian mixed drink , or did you used to play perhaps??

I simply threw in the ones that came to mind right at the moment. It's somewhat surprising that I didn't include hockey given my username and the fact that the NHL preseason starts pretty soon.

There isn't a particular story behind the username. It's something I randomly came up with one day. Sorry for the bummer. Though your Canadian mixed drink comment made me chuckle particularly given that I'm a teetotaler.

2B = 43rd book (John)
03 = chapter 3
10 = verse 16

I did a little research and all books and verses can be expressed this way (i.e. there are neither any books with more than 255 chapters nor chapters with more than 255 verses). And plenty of room leftover in first byte for Apocryphal books, etc, so it would encompass Catholic/Orthodox scripture space as well.

Now, I'd probably put an additional optional byte at the front to describe "faith space" (e.g. 00 = Christian, 01 = Judaism, 02 = Buddhism, etc). So maybe it'd look more like 002B0310 or if you prefer 0.43.3.16 if one wants it to look more like a dotted-quad ("God-Quad"?, "Holy Quad"?).

But, my alas my mind wanders...

Not yet.

My initial thought was ASCII, but I realized that 03 would be non-printable. I tried several other encodings like EBCDIC, several ISO encodings, and a few rare ones. No dice.

I considered it might be a hex representation in the RGB colorspace. It would be a dark red which doesn't match the color used. And it doesn't translate into any named CSS color that I'm aware of. So that didn't help me much though.

Perhaps it's magic bytes? I can't think of any file formats that use that sequence though.

Of course, it's probably obvious and I'm simply overthinking it. (That's a consequence of participating in cybersecurity competitions.)
