When I was a kid we had to import the snow that we had to walk through to get to school. And since we couldn't afford text books we had to do all of the research so that we could write our own.

These modern day kids have it all handed to them on a plate.

Which reminds me - we didn't even have plates. It never bothered us much, though, as we never had food either. We had to eat mud.

When I were lad, we couldn't afford to have monkeys as relatives. My relatives were a flock of geese, two moles and a slightly bent paperclip! And we had to share the moles with a family that lived in the next pothole down.

That's very good to hear and I would like to say that despite the age bashing that has gone on I'm sure most will agree that actually looking into it more is more than most Creationists are willing to do (and many of them are even less informed than you are I'm sure.)

I hope you do and come back to discuss the issue further. There were a lot of things the Greeks got right, and a lot they got wrong, but 2,500 years later their thoughts do make for interesting discussion.

And if everyone will indulge me on tangental comment - Homer, Anaximander, Solon and Euripides aside, I can sum up Greece in one word - Dolmas.

Well, maybe two words - Souflaki.

(And no. I don't want to hear about Uzo or Olive Oil or Tzaziki or anything with Philo dough - I'm a meat and grape leaves man.)

It's called Evolutionism and Creationism. It's by a guy named Ben Sonder.
