Saw the series, but I've never seen the OAV. Is it really as bad as everyone says it is? (in context and plot, I mean).

Just out of curiousity, as a christian do you feel guilty for watching it? Is it wrong to watch it?

I'm not trying to accuse you, but I like the series too, and I feel like its wrong for me to watch.

I feel the same way. I've seen the series, and even though I liked it, I felt like I shouldn't be watching it because of the homosexual content in it. And it's not that it's just in there, the story works off of it. It just makes me feel really, really bad.

When I 1st heard about Gravitation I wasnt sure if I wanted to watch it. After all at that time the only homosexual relationship I saw in a anime was between Salior Neptune & Sailor Uranus in Sailor Moon and that didnt brother me. But after reading reviews of Gravitation, listening to the music from it, and getting tired of Time Warner's Anime Network on Demand not airing it; I decided to get the DVDs. I'll only have 3 out of 4 (I dont have Vol. 2 but I plan to get but its being back order) and I have Vol. 1 of the manga but I think that Gravitation is a pretty good romance/comedy anime/manga. I didnt like the 1st 3 episodes at 1st cause I didnt like the dub version's voices but I got use to them and begin to like the series in both sub and dub version.

Now I dont feel bad for watching it as a Christian, because why should I judge people. I mean why should I tell someone who to love, no one should do that. If someone falls in love in someone who is the same gender as them then that cant be help. I am straight but I have no problems with people who are homosexuals because if they are in love then they should be in love. After all I might never find the one for me so why should I stop someone who has just because they are the same gender.

Anyway the relationship between Shuichi & Yuki is not like the main reason I watch Gravitation. In fact it wasnt even the reason I want to watch it in the 1st place. I wanted to watch for Ryuichi Sakuma, my favorite character as well as to see if Shuichi becomes a music star and to find out about Yuki's past, as well as to heard the music cause I love the music from Gravitation.

Just cause I'm a Christian doesnt mean that I go to Church every Sunday, actually I dont go to church at all and I barely read the Bible. I might lack the traits of most Christians but I still believe in God and I do pray now and then. I am not perfect but no one is. Well this are my thoughts and I can understand all of yours and I do respect them and some might not understand mine, but I hope at least you all will respect mine thoughts as well.

Just a note. The Gravitation OVA contains some very homosexual themes, more so than in the regular series. It borders more on Yaoi than Shonen-ai. So if you are not comfortable enough watching something like that, I'd suggest not spending your money on it.
