Graphics for God Group
I would like for any Christian who is into computer graphics, to consider becoming part of this group.
The purpose is to shine some of the Lords light, on the web, through different graphic contests. The important thing to remember is that we are not in it for the prizes that are offered. Nor should we be dissapointed should we fail to win any of the prizes. We win because we have shared something meaningful with others, We win because we are shedding the Lords light to others. We will not be able to see with our eyes the true prizes, or the souls we might reach through this task. It's purpose is one greater than our own eyes can see.
I'm sure there are many out there who consider themselves to be Christians, but might be afraid to let their light shine, maybe by just seeing others who aren't afraid to do this, will help them to overcome their fears of doing so. The more people they see doing it, the more they'll want to have part in that. We will never see the souls that the Lord will use our work to touch, at least not while we're here on earth. But I do know he can, and will use it for His Glory.
So here is how it works, there's nothing official to sign up for. It's simply if God has given you talent in this area, and you see some type of graphic contest on the web, make a few graphics for it if you can. Make some that bring glory to the name of our Lord. By adding a simple scripture to it, or allowing it to carry a message of truth to it.
There's a contest I am currently entering. You have to use Ulead Photo Impact 8 in order to enter the contest. They have a free trial version you can download and use if you don't already use the program. And even if you don't want to take part in this contest, I'm sure there are many other ones out there that you may wish to participate in, in the same way I am with this one. the more people we can get to start doing this the better, pass this idea on to any friends that you know have a talent for such things.

Here are a couple titles to some of my entries, so if you view the entries you can search for them. I'm not sharing these to show off my work, but rather to give you an example of how we can use our work to bring some Glory to God!

I also have some entries without scripture, those are more for the purpose of bait, someone might not look at some entries just because they have a scripture on them, but maybe by seeing some of the other work without the scripture, it will spark their interest in the ones that do have a scripture.
So let's get out there and share some of Gods word in places we might not have considered sharing it before!
And remember it's not about the prizes you can win, It's about bringing Glory to God. The true prizes in life are the ones you can't see with the eye.
