Anyone else here a graphic designer? I am and right now, while Im still studying it in college, I do it as a hobby. Just made this new signature.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I was attending college for Commercial Art & Design...basically with the degree you learn everything in the Graphics Art program plus you take classes on Advertising, Illustration, etc. It was actually quite enjoyable. We used programs such as Freehand MX (I have the PC version at home) & Photoshop CS. In high school I took some 3D animations courses using 3DS Max Studio (the program they used in the Matrix) along with Bryce. They're all awesome programs. I've taken a break from college until we're finished having children. (Since I'm pregnant w/ #2..lol) I've been thinking about going freelance for awhile though designing logos online. I haven't designed anything in a while though...I've been pretty busy. You're work looks really awesome though.

I will be going to school in May for a bachelors in Graphic Design. How far along in your studies are you? 2 years in?

I'm not good enough to be a graphic designer, but I am an artist. I love creating art in all mediums...sketching, painting, photographs...and I've just starting working with PSP.
BTW, anyone know a good "for dummies" program that will help in designing a personal webpage? I want to design a webpage, but am stuck.
