Everyone thinks I'm granite,
they think I'm hard as stone.
They think I'll never wear done.
But they're wrong.
Because I cant help crying anymore,
I can't help breaking down,
I can't help falling out,
and I can't understand why.
He told me I was an angel,
so I thought it meant I could fly.
But I was wrong.
I guess I'm an angel,
carved from a granite slab.
Granite is so heavy,
it can not fly.
But how can I be granite,
when granite lasts a lifetime,
and I'm crumbled and washed out,
and I'm falling down.
Loosing my new-ness,
loosing my shine,
loosing my will,
to survive.
Granite angels don't have hearts,
And I don't have a heart...
so then why is mine broken?
Why do I cry,
if cranite has no tears?
Granite has no feelings.
He said I was an angel,
but he meant a granite one....
they think I'm hard as stone.
They think I'll never wear done.
But they're wrong.
Because I cant help crying anymore,
I can't help breaking down,
I can't help falling out,
and I can't understand why.
