Gran Torino

What did you think of Gran Torino? Was the character of Clint Eastwood original or just a remake of the old loner Dirty Harry.
It had something good about it in my opinion....funny, sad and charming.
At almost 80 years old, Clint sure did well.

I don't associate him with his old films. I recall him from Million Dollar Baby. I was amused with this,saddened like you but loved this film for the direction it takes you. Swearing aside,it was powerful stuff.

I liked it more than I thought I would. Content was adult in language but hey it's a great movie for older teens with alot to be learned. It was packed when I went!!

I loved it! We had a great audience too. It was a riot to hear a whole theater gasp, then laugh hysterically at some of the things he said.
It was great.

yeah, I'm just cautious about the movies I watch today... anyone can say it's good, but when it comes to movies, you really can't judge it until you see it for yourself

I thought the movie was wonderful in every aspect.
The dialogue was amazing, the character development was some of the best I've seen in movies recently, and it was just an all around entertaining film! I look forward to seeing more Clint in the not so distant future.
