  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

So far I've gotten straight A's (with lots of tutoring, studying and talking to professors), but that wasn't an option so I chose mostly A's. I'm getting ready to begin my second semester of sophomore year and hopefully the streak will continue. Not that it matters. WHen I transfer, my GPA starts over.

You don't really "start over". You have your home institution GPA (your current college) and your cumulative GPA (that's how you did in all your classes combined no matter what the college or university you attended). If you want to go to grad school you really need to keep up your cumulative GPA because that's what they look at too.

Have you ever failed a college class before? If so, what class, and why did you fail it?

I have roughly a B average. I did fail a class lat year. It was my Biology lab, and I failed it because I am incompetent when it comes to doing labs. I redid it this year, still needing the lab to get credit for the Biology course as a whole, and only managed 50.2%.

Psychology is good,as a field, because they don't know much, AND they admit it, not the personal professor you might speak with, but as a discipline.

The Encyclopedia Of Human Behavior explicitly states, in the preface, under the editors remarks, that, inspite of 4000 years of study, man knows hardly anything about himself.

1) Lucifer = The Pleasure Principle = Id
2) Satan = Physical Drives = Libido
3) [E] Mammon = The Aggressive Drive = Ego
4) [N] Devil = Feminine principle of Intuition = Anima
5) [F] Baalzebub = The Reality Principle = Self
6) [T] False Prophet = The Logical/Mathematical Mind = Superego
7) [J] False Shepherd = Psychic Balance = Harmony
8) [P] Spirit of Error = Selfishness = Motivation

Sweeeet.

I finally got my grades for all of my classes...yes!
One A and two B's...

Funny... almost everything I read said that college is going to be much harder than high school--making me think that I was going to flunk or something.

Your professors will show no mercy. People get AP(academic probations for those high schoolers lounging around here), blah blah blah....

When I think about it, college isn't so bad. Perhaps it's because I'm a Creative Writing major. ^_^

Oh yea, I just have to take on quarter of math. But I could take computer science instead. I laugh at my math teacher who told me that I have to take math in college.

But I give props to those who have to take math, science, and the like. I can never do that for a living.

<I'm sooo happy! I'm crying with joy...figuratively speaking...
