Im not entirley sure how to use this site, so please forgive me if i make mestakes.
It is from my own experience in my own church, from my fellow believers, that
Gothic christians, are not truly saved, that it is sin-full in respects.
Im not one to entirley understand the whole issue's myself, but recently, i have wanted to become "gothic" as such, but apparently this is not right.
Im quite stuck where i am because i am hearing different points of veiws, for instance, Gothisism ( the only way i can really put it) is only a subculture, and should not affect religon.
Is this true ?
Thank you

Wonder where that got changed into something totally different? German barbarians became absinthe drinking folks who wear black?
And yes, I am just being silly. One of my fave clubs is goth.

It makes it harder for those of us that like to tote an axe down the street wearing only a bearskin.
I'm joking, my ancestors are the Celts, so I'd have to go naked.

First off:1atheistmonk said:I always thought that the concept of Gothic came from the dark architecture of the Catholic churches during the renaissance period? and If that was the scenario, wouldn't Gothic concepts and Christianity go hand in hand?
which is not to be confused with these guys:Gothic Art is the style of art produced in Northern Europe from the middle ages up until the beginning of the Renaissance. Typically rooted in religious devotion, it is especially known for the distinctive arched design of its churches, its stained glass, and its illuminated manuscripts.
In the late 14th century, anticipating the Renaissance, Gothic Art developed into a more secular style known as International Gothic. One of the great artists of this period is Simone Martini.
Although superseded by Renaissance art, there was a Gothic Revival in the 18th and 19th centuries, largely rooted in nostalgia and romanticism
