I visited the GotQuestions.org site and found the following:
The amillennial view comes from using one method of interpretation for unfulfilled prophecy and another method for non-prophetic Scripture and fulfilled prophecy. Non-prophetic Scripture and fulfilled prophecy are interpreted literally or normally. But, according to the amillennialist, unfulfilled prophecy is to be interpreted spiritually, or non-literally. Those who hold to amillennialism believe that a “spiritual” reading of unfulfilled prophecy is the normal reading of the texts. This is called using a dual hermeneutic. (Hermeneutics is the study of the principles of interpretation.) The amillennialist assumes that most, or all, unfulfilled prophecy is written in symbolic, figurative, spiritual language. Therefore, the amillennialist will assign different meanings to those parts of Scripture instead of the normal, contextual meanings of those words.

That's a pretty horrible and untrue answer. This is just a caricature of what Amil actually believes. I don't know how badly slanted this site was. Is it just in the answers to prophetic questions that we find this clear case of creating a straw-man?

Yours in the Lord,

jm

One more quote:

Amillennialism fails in that it uses inconsistent hermeneutics, namely, interpreting unfulfilled prophecy differently from fulfilled prophecy.
Again, Amil uses a consistent hermeneutic, just one the Dispey's disagree with. We consistently allow the New Testament to interpret the Old. Jesus was accused of not using a literal hermeneutic when it came to the Kingdom of the Messiah by the Pharisees!

I have had several exchanges with the owner of the site. He has always been a decent and reasonable person. Perhaps you might contact him through the site and point out the discrepancies. All of the articles are written by volunteers and he might welcome some amil articles written from that perspective for info's sake even if he holds to another view.

Maybe he would not welcome it, but I would give him the benefit of the doubt until he removes all doubt.
