  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I was raised into a Catholic Church and was forced to go to church. Once, I met my husband, I didnt even like God because of what my family was doing to me. Now, I am Baptist and do see that there are lots of different denominations and beliefs, but they all still believe in One God. So, to answer your question, for me, I noticed that the Catholics has lots of Sacriments that are not in the Bible and of if they are some that are, then they are in different parts of the Bible. Plus, the Catholic cchurch that I went to didnt even open a Bible to even look up anything.

God Bless!!!!

Many people move from one place to another as their spirit is convicted of sin ...

Some move because they find a place that has a practical message v's the same old rhetoric as last year . seeing results in the confession and prayers

some , like thomas , need to dot i's and cross t's , and learn how to operate the bible like a protestant evangelical ... daring to ask God directly , in the name of Jesus ... taking the words literal ... what if it is just that simple ...

to others , church is the world outside of the church building ... to be able to express their faith in the day to day world ...

To me it doesn't matter if you are
Catholic, Baptist, Methodist, etc.
Just as long as you believe that Christ
Jesus is your Lord and Savior and have a
Believing knowledge of Him, not just a head knowledge
That is more important.

It is my belief that more people are searching for truth than ever before. If they don't find it in one place, then they keep searching. I believe that God is moving to make people choose, black or white if you know what I mean.

Oh, and there are quite a few Catholic Christians out there, even charismatic ones!

Peace
